The Brief
The garden office had already been built, but the ground around it wasn't suitable for everyday use. Walking straight from the office onto wet grass wasn't practical, and there was nowhere comfortable to sit outside.
The customer wanted a durable, contemporary patio that would provide a usable outdoor seating area while linking seamlessly back to the main part of the garden.
What We Did
Installed a stunning black porcelain patio using large 600 x 600 porcelain tiles.
Finished the paving with a light grey grout to create a crisp, modern appearance.
Built the patio on a raised brick foundation using red bricks to achieve the required height.
Installed a matching porcelain pathway connecting the patio to the existing garden steps.
Carefully finished every detail to create a practical and attractive outdoor space.

The completed patio has completely transformed the area around the garden office.
The large-format black porcelain paving gives the space a contemporary feel while providing a durable, low-maintenance surface that's perfect for outdoor furniture. The light grey grout creates subtle definition between each tile, adding to the clean, modern finish.
Because the patio needed to sit above the existing ground level, a raised brick base was constructed to provide both strength and an attractive edge detail.
