The Customer's Brief
The customer wanted to give their garden a modern feel while creating a practical outdoor space that combined paving and artificial grass.
Rather than simply dividing the garden into separate paved and grass areas, the design was centred around the idea of using the porcelain paving as a frame around the artificial grass.
The customer also wanted lighting incorporated into the design to enhance the modern appearance of the garden.
What We Did
D Sharp Design & Build installed a porcelain patio across the garden, creating the main paved area and surrounding the central grass section.
The artificial grass was installed within the porcelain paving to create the picture-frame effect. The central section uses 50mm Bora Bora artificial grass, providing a strong contrast against the grey porcelain.
A dark porcelain plank edging was installed around the grass section, creating a defined border between the paving and artificial grass.
We also installed LED strip lighting around the perimeter of the porcelain paving, adding another modern design feature to the garden.
A Bespoke Picture-Frame Garden Design
