A More Defined and Practical Front Garden
This front garden in Oxted was transformed with a combination of new fencing, a replacement garden gate and a newly designed pathway leading towards the front door.
The aim was to give the front of the property a more structured and finished appearance while creating a clear route to the entrance.
The Customer's Brief
The customer wanted to transform the front garden and improve the overall appearance of the space.
As part of the project, they wanted new fencing and a new gate, along with a dedicated pathway leading towards the front door.
The finished design needed to provide a clear entrance while giving the garden a more organised and contemporary appearance.
What We Did
D Sharp Design & Build installed 3ft x 6ft close board fencing panels, using concrete posts and concrete gravel boards to create the new boundary.
A new front garden gate was also installed to provide access through the newly established boundary.
To complete the front garden, we installed a new pathway leading towards the front door. The central pathway is complemented by block paving sections on either side, creating a defined design rather than leaving the entrance as a simple paved route.
Creating a Clear Entrance
One of the key features of this project is the way the pathway has been incorporated into the overall garden design.
The darker paving creates a strong visual route towards the property, while the block paving sections either side add definition and break up the surrounding space.
The combination of fencing, gate and paving gives the front garden a much more structured layout.
