Bespoke Brick Wall & Railings Transformation In Purley
This project in Purley involved completely transforming the front of the customer's property by removing extensive overgrown trees and bushes and replacing them with a smart, bespoke brick boundary wall.
The existing planting had become difficult to manage, with the tall trees and bushes making the frontage harder to keep clean and attracting birds. The customer wanted a more practical, low-maintenance solution that would also complement the character of their home.
Removing the Overgrown Frontage
The existing trees and bushes had become a dominant feature at the front of the property.
While established planting can look attractive, in this case it was creating ongoing maintenance issues and making the driveway and frontage dirty.
The customer decided that the best solution was to remove the overgrown planting and replace it with a permanent, structured boundary.
New Facing Brickwork
We constructed a new boundary wall using facing brickwork, carefully designed to suit the existing property.
The brickwork creates a much cleaner and more defined frontage while providing a durable boundary that will require considerably less ongoing maintenance than the previous overgrown planting.
The new wall also gives the property a more substantial and finished appearance from the street.
Bespoke Railings & Copings
To add detail and character, we incorporated metal railings between the brick piers.
This combination provides a good balance between privacy, security and an open appearance, allowing the customer's planting behind the wall to remain visible.
The brickwork was finished with copings across the wall sections and piers, providing a neat architectural finish and helping to protect the top of the wall.

The transformation wasn't simply about changing the appearance of the property.
